Thank you! You've been awesome and I've really enjoyed the last 8 weeks.
I've learnt so much from you over the last year about fitness, nutrition and how it's so important to look after yourself. Exercising and watching what I eat has made me happier, calmer, given me more energy and I've banished the brain fog I've been fighting for so long. I was offered a job earlier this week after being a stay at home mum for 10 years! I'm so excited to be returning to work (part time), exercising with you has made me feel good about myself again and more confident and that's what got me the job so thank you!Thank you! The best thing about these classes is the gentle but supportive and encouraging nature of Sharon’s training...
I saw Sharon’s ad for Bootcamp in the local Greenhithe news and what grabbed was the line ‘Bootcamp without the Boot’. This was a true reflection of how Sharon runs her sessions, which I think is probably why they are so popular and have repeat attendees. I think a lot of people shy away from the Bootcamp/CrossFit type classes as they do sound a bit scary, especially for those who may not have exercised for a while, or the thought of being pushed so hard that you cannot move for 4 days, this is where Sharon differs from the other Bootcamps I have attended. Everyone is pushed to do their best and try to reach that little bit outside of their comfort zone, but not in a way that you feel under pressure or want to give up because it is ‘too hard’ – the classes provide for all levels of fitness. Sharon is not all about ‘whipping you into shape’ but rather gently moulding you into becoming a fitter, stronger and healthier person all round – without feeling pressured. I also liked how Sharon kept us motivated by regular email and Facebook contact and also making us think in the classes, and after our class, about how we could make small changes to become stronger and healthier in our general day to day lives, with tips on nutrition, at home exercises and general useful information on health and fitness. I really enjoyed the sessions with Sharon and the Greenhithe team and loved how everyone is also supportive and encouraging to all of the other team members. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sharon’s classes or one on one training. - Debs |

Everyone at boot camp is encouraging and supportive and it's great seeing other people progress...
I started boot camps with Sharon 9 weeks ago, hoping to get a fitness kick start after several years of doing no exercise. The twice-weekly boot camps have provided an amazing fitness boost, taking me from being able to run 500m (just!) to 5km. Each session has been fun yet challenging. While I have many nights where I think "I don't know if I have enough energy to go", Sharon's sessions are great at turning this around. Everyone at boot camp is encouraging and supportive and it's great seeing other people progress. While it's boot camp with no boot, Sharon is skilled at knowing when you're not pushing yourself as much as you could/should and prompts you to put more effort in. I've appreciated her expertise when dealing with old niggling injuries, and we've been able to modify activities when need be. I highly recommend Let's Get Active. I originally only planned to do one program but here I am on my second, and suspect I'll be doing many more!! - Felicity |

The improvement in my fitness is being noticed not just by me, but by those around me...
I am one of those people that finds it impossible to motivate myself to exercise alone. I was definitely apprehensive when I started with Sharon because I thought all the other participants would be much fitter, stronger and frankly just better than me at all of it. They all were, but it absolutely didn't matter. The whole group is fantastically supportive and make going along each time genuinely fun. Sharon's personal and individual encouragement (not just during the sessions) and wealth of industry knowledge pushes you out of your comfort zone, and she makes sure you get real, tangible results at your own pace. I honestly couldn't run more than about 50m without thinking I was dying when I started, and now, just two months later, I find myself willingly getting up at 6am to go running. The improvement in my fitness is being noticed not just by me, but by those around me. It is totally worth it, and you will feel the difference. -Vicki |

Feeling fitter and more motivated every week...
I have completed 2 blocks of training now with Sharon and am enjoying my third…The training is geared towards any level of fitness and allows you to hit it hard or go at your own pace. A great mix and age range of people make it fun and challenging. There is a lot of variety in the different exercises and really challenges you to work hard and gets results fast. A great introduction for anyone wanting to get fit in a class environment or if you simply want to mix things up. Loving it so far – feeling fitter and more motivated every week. -Derek |

Sharon has this wonderful way of encouraging you, pushing you and ensuring you walk away with the knowledge that 'you can'...
I began my 'Boot Camp' life turning 40 and generally not happy with my fitness. I have always been a solo exerciser, head phones in, head down and have my own mind and will push me to what I thought was my limit. Then came Sharon and 'Let's get Active' boot camp, I was met with the biggest, warmest smile I have yet to match, Sharon was interested in my fitness abilities, my fitness level and my goals. The sessions would push me, make me do exercises I once thought impossible possible, I would hurt (yes you do have muscles in places you never knew) and I was learning. Sharon has this wonderful way of encouraging you, pushing you and ensuring you walk away with the knowledge that 'you can'. She is a warm and compassionate teacher who has taught me the correct technique to perform an exercise, the reasons why we do exercises in certain order/ways and that it's not what is reading on the bathroom scales but the energy, the strength and the power that is now inside me. But with Sharon comes the 'group', they are without doubt one of the best bunch of people I have been lucky enough to meet. I do not feel judged, I don't feel the pressure to be better or fitter than the person beside me, they are encouraging, supportive, interested and there standing alongside me. They too are sweating and panting and like me, are on their journey to a fitter them. So I thank them, they help in so many ways, and I thank you Sharon for being our great inspirer. -Nikki |

Less boot, more fun...
I've been training with Sharon at Lets Get Active, 3 times per week for 6 weeks now and I'm feeling fitter, sleeping better and my stress levels have reduced dramatically! Sharon is a great motivator and I look forward to every session - she provides guidance and encouragement along with varied and interesting workouts that mean I look forward to every session and feel great afterwards. - Michelle |

I have plenty of reasons to show up!
I greatly enjoy taking part in the Let’s Get Active group outdoor workouts. Having this local exercise option means that it is easy to commit to and hard to find a reason to not show up! Sharon has worked hard to help me achieve my fitness goals. The sessions are never boring and are tuned to aid in my rehabilitation from a long term injury. An added spin off is meeting new people from my community. See you at the next session Greenhithe! - Paul |

It is so much fun at Let’s Get Active sessions...
Granted, we exercise and get tired and out of breath, but the encouragement received from not only Sharon, but also the boot campers sweating and panting alongside me, help me realise that I can achieve the goal for the day. None of us ever feel alone or left out during our sessions, and Sharon’s instruction and supervision means that I get a good workout without injury due to doing something incorrectly, like I might do if I had to do it on my own. This is the third program I’m doing with Sharon, and I see plenty more to come. -Nadia |

I highly recommend Let's Get Active...
Sharon made it so much fun (even when it was very hard, especially that first week), but I had found that by doing exercises by myself I was never sure if I was doing them correctly. Sharon ensures that you are doing them right and targeting the areas that need to be worked. The most important reason for me signing up with Sharon was that I had had surgery on both my wrists. I was pretty apprehensive, but I didn't need to worry as Sharon has been excellent with support and adapted exercises for my injury. I had been asked by friends to go to a boot camp a few years ago, I had always said “NO”, always with some kind of excuse like: kids, husband, work, etc. But Sharon advertised a Beginners Boot Camp right here in Greenhithe. I couldn’t come up with an excuse – it was early Saturday morning (kids still in bed, no work and husband CAN look after himself). -Donna |
